A three-week defence reporting course for 24 journalists concluded in Tezpur after training across India’s armed forces.
What happened
The participants completed training on the roles, capabilities and operations of the Army, Navy and Air Force. The programme included information sessions, field visits and discussions with military personnel, covering defence reporting responsibilities and operational sensitivities. Lieutenant General Neeraj Shukla, General Officer Commanding of Gajraj Corps, chaired the closing ceremony.
