RBI Opens New Manufacturing Outlook Survey for October–December 2026
The RBI has launched its 116th quarterly survey of Indian manufacturing sentiment and business conditions.
What happened
The Reserve Bank of India has begun its 116th Industrial Outlook Survey for October–December 2026. It will capture manufacturers’ views on demand, finances, employment and prices for the current and next quarters, while also covering outlooks through Q2 2027-28. Genesis Management & Market Research will conduct the survey, whose findings will be published anonymously in summary form.
Why it matters
The survey will provide the RBI with current qualitative evidence on manufacturing demand, costs, employment and financial conditions across upcoming quarters.
