French companies are deploying NVIDIA-powered agentic AI across industries, moving the country’s ecosystem from commitments to commercial and public-sector applications.
What happened
France-based companies are expanding agentic AI infrastructure across sectors. Altair-1, the first satellite in a planned $1 billion, 50-satellite constellation, reached orbit with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin modules running Mistral models. Twake.ai, built on NVIDIA Nemotron, became the sole referenced sovereign digital workplace under the CANUT framework for more than 2,500 French public organisations.
Why it matters
The deployments show AI moving into operational use, from autonomous Earth observation and public-sector software to governed services for banks and industrial research.
