Apple Opens HomeView Pre-Orders at $299 in India and Five Countries
Apple has opened pre-orders for its $299 HomeView smart-home display, with availability beginning November 13 in India and other markets.
What happened
Apple introduced HomeView, a 7-inch smart-home display combining entertainment, FaceTime, Siri AI, and home controls. The tabletop and wall-mounted models both cost $299 in the U.S., with pre-orders open in India and five other countries and sales starting November 13. The European Union is excluded because Siri AI is unavailable in iOS there.
Why it matters
The launch gives Apple a new hardware entry point into home entertainment and smart-home management, while EU availability remains blocked by Siri AI’s regional restriction.
