Small Businesses Embrace AI, But 86% Say They Need More Guidance
A Meta-commissioned YouGov survey finds AI is boosting productivity and sales for small businesses across nine APAC markets.
What happened
The survey of 3,983 small-business owners found 84% currently use AI, while 76% reported higher productivity and 71% reported improved revenue or sales over the past year. However, 86% said they need more guidance to capture AI’s full benefits, with training cost the leading barrier. The findings cover nine APAC markets and are not nationally representative.
Why it matters
AI is already helping smaller companies compete with larger businesses, but limited guidance, training costs, and uncertainty over returns and data security constrain wider gains.
