What happened
TRAI, working with the International Telecommunication Union, will host an ITU-T regional meeting in Hyderabad on December 3, 2026. It will accompany a December 2 workshop on telecom service quality, a Quality of Service Development Group meeting and hands-on training on standardisation. Discussions will cover QoS and QoE standards, regulatory frameworks, benchmarking and sector trends.
Why it matters
The event gives regulators and telecom stakeholders a forum to exchange service-quality practices and discuss frameworks for measuring and improving customer experience across Asia-Pacific markets.
