Germany Links Industrial AI Ambitions to NVIDIA Partnership and Startup Funding
Germany and NVIDIA agreed to advance industrial AI while NVIDIA announced investments in four German startups.
What happened
Germany’s federal government signed a Joint Declaration of Intent with NVIDIA to develop AI models for physical applications and expand industrial AI adoption. Chancellor Friedrich Merz highlighted manufacturing, automotive and Mittelstand companies as priorities. NVIDIA also announced planned investments in Agile Robots, Avelios Medical, Mirelo and Reflex Aerospace, within its nearly $10 billion Europe commitment.
Why it matters
The agreement connects Germany’s manufacturing base and industrial data with NVIDIA’s AI technology, while startup funding extends support across robotics, healthcare, media and space.
