Prime Minister Narendra Modi used his Vijay Dashami address to connect Lord Ram’s ideals with governance, self-reliance and national development.
What happened
Speaking at a Vijay Dashami celebration in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented Lord Ram’s conduct as a model for ethical governance, equal opportunity and public welfare. He said India’s development and self-reliance goals require public participation, confidence in domestic capabilities and disciplined use of resources. Modi also said more than 650 ancient artefacts had returned to India over the past 12 years.
