Apple Pledges Up to $100 Million for U.S. iPhone Titanium

Apple expands American supplier partnerships for iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro components, including titanium and camera technology.

What happened

Apple will commit up to $100 million over three years to Pennsylvania-based Perryman Company for recycled-content titanium used in iPhone Duo. It is also expanding its partnership with Delaware-headquartered Qnity Electronics, which will produce films for iPhone 18 Pro’s variable-aperture camera. Nearly 100 components across both devices are made by American companies.

Why it matters

The expanded partnerships deepen Apple’s U.S. manufacturing footprint, supporting suppliers across more than a dozen states and its stated backing of over 450,000 American jobs.
