Waze Turns Commutes Into Cat-in-the-Hat-Themed Drives Globally
Waze has launched a globally available English navigation experience featuring The Cat in the Hat.
What happened
Waze users can activate a Cat in the Hat experience ahead of the film’s November 6 theatrical release. Bill Hader voices the Cat, whose turn-by-turn directions include Seussian rhymes, optimistic commentary and playful sound effects. Users can also select themed moods and replace the navigation arrow with the character’s jet-powered Magical Couch.
Why it matters
The feature gives Waze users a branded entertainment experience during everyday drives and extends the film’s promotion directly into the navigation app.
