Companies Use DSX to Link AI Factories With Power Grids
Companies are using DSX to coordinate AI-factory design, power infrastructure and grid operations amid severe capacity constraints.
What happened
The DSX platform combines simulations of grids, substations, facilities and AI workloads, allowing companies to validate power and cooling systems before construction. It also adjusts AI-factory demand to grid conditions and onsite generation. The need is significant: more than $300 billion in equipment is backlogged, while over 200 gigawatts of US projects await interconnection.
Why it matters
Linking compute demand with power availability can reduce infrastructure delays and improve utilisation. One integrated deployment reported about 10% more compute within the same power envelope.
