Apple Expands Siri AI To French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish
Apple’s 27.2 software updates add Siri AI support for five more languages, expanding its beta availability beyond English.
What happened
Apple has expanded its beta Siri AI feature to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish through iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS 27.2. Siri AI requires an Apple Intelligence-enabled device and a supported language. It remains unavailable in the EU on iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS, while four additional languages are due by year-end.
Why it matters
The update broadens access to Apple’s more conversational assistant across major language markets, but regional restrictions and device requirements still limit availability.
