Delhi-NCR Transport Fair Offers Truck Replacement Incentives On October 28
The government will host a Delhi-NCR transport fair showcasing vehicle scrappage, financing and replacement incentives on October 28, 2026.
What happened
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, with the Delhi government, will hold the Parivartan transport fair at Burari’s Vehicle Inspection Unit on October 28, 2026. Vehicle manufacturers, dealers, registered scrapping facilities, lenders, oil companies and city-gas distributors will offer guidance on scrapping, financing, new purchases and fuel benefits. Around 40,000 beneficiaries have registered on the Parivartan portal.
Why it matters
Eligible old-truck and bus owners can access additional discounts, 5% loan-interest support, 10 years of full road-tax exemption and other scheme-linked benefits.
