Google launches brain-mapping AI quest for students aged 11 to 14
Google and Stanford launched an interactive neuroscience quest teaching students AI literacy, data skills, and responsible technology use.
What happened
Google Research and the Stanford Accelerator for Learning launched “Polar Peaks,” the third AI Quest for students aged 11 to 14. Players map brain neurons, investigate memory loss, and practise data cleaning and model testing while learning why human oversight matters. More than 400,000 AI Quests have been completed across 10 languages.
Why it matters
The programme gives schools a practical way to teach AI literacy through neuroscience, while new teacher modules support classroom use and discussion.
