Meta expands AI glasses lineup with Muse, VR and audio models
Meta announced Muse integration, new VR and audio glasses, and more than 100 AI-glasses styles by year-end.
What happened
At Connect 2026, Meta announced that Muse, its personal AI agent, will come to AI glasses in the coming months. Users will be able to ask Muse about objects they are viewing and let it take action. Meta also introduced Meta VR Glasses, weighing about 100 grams, with immersive entertainment, work tools and access to selected 3D and live sports content. Its new Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses combine earbuds, calls and AI access. Meta said its lineup will exceed 100 AI-glasses styles across Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta Glasses by the end of 2026.
Why it matters
Meta is expanding AI glasses from audio and assistant features into hands-free shopping, work, travel and visual help. Its VR glasses also position the format as a screen for entertainment and productivity without traditional headsets or additional hardware.
