Google Flow adds six creator-built tools for audio, design and video
Google is releasing six customizable Flow tools for architecture, sound design, digital content and motion graphics.
What happened
Google has released six new tools built with creative-industry leaders for use in Google Flow. The tools target architecture, sound design and digital content creation. Mondo Sónico generates synchronized, editable audio tracks for ambience, foley and contextual effects, with stems available for post-production. Surface creates architectural textures and maps them onto 3D walls, ceilings and floors in real time. Other tools automate multilingual captioning, social-media thumbnail creation, animated documentary collages and Swiss-style motion graphics from scripts. Users can test, duplicate, remix or build Flow tools by describing a task.
Why it matters
The release lets artists and designers create workflows around specific tasks instead of relying only on fixed software. It also targets manual work in audio, captioning, rendering, materials and motion design.
