Salesforce’s Koa Cuts CRM Errors Threefold With NVIDIA Model

Salesforce unveiled Koa, its first CRM reasoning model, built on NVIDIA’s open Nemotron 3 Super model.

What happened

Salesforce announced Koa at Dreamforce, describing it as the company’s first CRM reasoning model. It was created by post-training NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super on a proprietary synthetic dataset covering enterprise scenarios across more than 14 industries and nearly three decades of CRM deployments. Salesforce fine-tuned and runs Koa within its own infrastructure, using no customer data for training or inference. In Salesforce’s CRM Bench, Koa matches or exceeds leading performance on tasks such as updating opportunities, routing cases and scheduling follow-ups, with three times fewer errors. It already powers an employee agent in Slack.

Why it matters

Koa gives Salesforce a model it controls operationally while targeting more reliable CRM automation. Customer pilots begin in October, with general availability expected in U.S. regions in winter 2026.
