Apple Starts Sales of New Mac mini and Mac Studio Desktops
Apple has begun selling its new Mac mini and Mac Studio desktops through stores, online channels, and the Apple Store app.
What happened
Apple’s new Mac mini and Mac Studio became available on September 22, 2026, through Apple Store locations, apple.com, the Apple Store app, and authorised resellers. The Mac mini comes with M6 or M5 Pro chips, starting at $899 and $1,699 respectively in the US. The Mac Studio offers M5 Max and M5 Ultra configurations, starting at $2,499 and $5,499. Education pricing starts at $799 for Mac mini and $2,299 for Mac Studio. A Mac Studio configuration with 512GB of unified memory is scheduled to arrive in late October.
Why it matters
Customers and businesses can now buy Apple’s latest desktop systems, while students have lower education prices. Eligible US customers can also use trade-in, financing, or leasing options to reduce upfront costs.
