Apple opens 600-seat London venue with built-in recording and broadcast studios
Apple has opened a 600-capacity London venue combining intimate concerts, Spatial Audio production, multicamera capture, global livestreams, and radio studios.
What happened
Apple opened Apple Music Hall on September 21, 2026, at Battersea Power Station in London. The 600-capacity venue has a 38-foot-wide reconfigurable stage, a 48-speaker spatial sound system, two recording and mixing studios, and infrastructure for at least 16 cameras. Artists can perform for a live audience while creating multitrack recordings, Spatial Audio mixes, broadcast-ready audio, and multicamera video from the same show. Performances will also be livestreamed globally. Apple said all London-based Apple Music Radio hosts and shows will now broadcast from new studios at Battersea. Apple Music Radio remains available worldwide 24/7 at no charge.
