Google Expands Pixel Scam Detection, Adds VIP Widgets And Watch Features
Google’s September Pixel update adds Pixel VIP widget controls, broader chat Scam Detection, and Pixel Watch improvements.
What happened
The September Pixel Drop refreshes Pixel VIP widgets with one-tap calling or texting, contact switching, and notification badges. Inline Gboard scam warnings are available in the U.S., while Scam Detection for chat-app notifications expands to more regions. Pixel Watch gains Raise to Talk improvements and more one-handed gesture integrations. Eligible Pixel users also receive a two-month Audible trial.
