Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia released the trailer for a documentary series showcasing Northeast India’s food and cultural traditions.
What happened
Minister for Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia released the trailer for “The Enchanting 8: A Culinary Journey Through the Northeast” in New Delhi. The series covers all eight northeastern states, exploring their cuisines, communities, local ingredients and cultural practices. It was launched by the ministry and North Eastern Council, and implemented through NERCORMS.
Why it matters
The series gives Northeast India’s culinary traditions and local communities national visibility, helping connect wider audiences with the region’s cultural diversity.
