Meta Tests Forum App to Deepen Facebook Group Conversations
Meta is testing Forum, a dedicated app that brings Facebook groups, AI search, and community discovery into one place.
What happened
Forum syncs users’ Facebook groups into a dedicated iOS and Android app available for testing in the US. Its Ask feature uses AI to surface answers from existing group posts and comments, including public groups users have not joined. Meta is also testing a top community voices role, with badges and faster post publication, on Forum in the US and Facebook globally.
Why it matters
The app gives group members a more focused way to find firsthand advice and discover communities, while giving admins tools to identify valuable contributors.
