Google Arts & Culture Puts Two AI Artworks Online
Google Arts & Culture has published two AI-enabled artworks created through an online residency with LAS Art Foundation.
What happened
Artists Xin Liu and Eunjo Lee created the works during an online residency supported by LAS Art Foundation and Google Arts & Culture. Liu’s “nom nom” uses neural cellular automata to explore collective intelligence and simulated living ecosystems. Lee’s “In Your Eyes, Before My Own” uses Nano Banana, Veo, 3D assets and motion capture to connect philosophy, language and digital environments.
Why it matters
The projects show how AI tools are being used not only for image generation, but also to build simulations, characters and interactive digital worlds.
