Renewables Ministry Completes Cleanup Phase; Implementation Starts October 2
India’s renewable energy ministry completed the first phase of Special Campaign 6, with implementation scheduled from October 2 to 31, 2026.
What happened
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy completed the campaign’s preparatory phase, conducted from September 15 to 30, with its public-sector companies and autonomous institutions. The work covered identifying pending cases, reviewing physical records, organising cleanliness drives and segregating e-waste. The implementation phase will run from October 2 through October 31, 2026.
Why it matters
The campaign is intended to reduce pending matters, improve record management and strengthen cleanliness and administrative efficiency across the ministry and its affiliated institutions.
