Mandsaur Narcotics Office Reaches 150 Students With Drug Awareness Drive

Mandsaur’s District Opium Office held a student awareness programme on drug abuse, prevention and a drug-free lifestyle.

What happened

The District Opium Office in Mandsaur’s Second Division conducted the programme at Sharada Public School, Pipliya Mandi, under Mission Yuva Raksha. Officials explained the Central Bureau of Narcotics’ role and drug laws, followed by a quiz on health, family, education and career risks. Around 150 students participated and took a pledge to avoid drugs.

Why it matters

The programme linked drug prevention with students’ health, education, careers and family lives, while encouraging youth participation in building a drug-free society.
