Employers Get Labour-Code Guidance Across Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand
The Labour Ministry held industrial-cluster sessions explaining labour-code provisions, employer compliance and social-security schemes.
What happened
The Labour and Employment Ministry held district-level “Shram Samvad” programmes on October 1 in Haridwar, New Delhi’s Narayana Industrial Area and Sonipat. The sessions covered all four labour codes, employer obligations, records, returns, employee benefits and implementation questions. About 275 participants attended across the three locations. The 90-day campaign covers 316 districts across all 36 states and union territories.
Why it matters
Employers received direct clarification from ministry, EPFO, ESIC and labour officials on applicability, statutory compliance and employee benefits under the new framework.
