Google Expands Gemini Across Cybersecurity, Apps, Science And Windows
Google’s September AI launches span frontier models, connected apps, scientific research, weather forecasting, and Windows access.
What happened
Google highlighted Gemini 4 Argon, a frontier model with a one-million-token output limit for complex work including coding, financial research, legal drafting, and cybersecurity. Argon is initially available to trusted cyber defenders through the Fairwind Program. September updates also added connected apps to Gemini, launched the app for Windows, and introduced AI tools for DNA analysis, methane tracking, and weather forecasting.
