Meta Opens Enterprise AI Platform, Names Former MongoDB CEO to Lead
Meta is launching an enterprise AI platform led by former MongoDB CEO Chirantan Desai.
What happened
Meta is creating Meta Enterprise Platform, a new business pillar focused on helping companies use its AI technology to grow and transform. The offering will initially include the Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code. Chirantan “CJ” Desai, formerly MongoDB’s CEO and president, will lead the platform as chief enterprise platform officer, reporting to Mark Zuckerberg.
Why it matters
Meta is moving beyond advertising and consumer products to package its AI models, agents and infrastructure for businesses and developers as deployable enterprise services.
