GOAT Customers Get More Than $100,000 in FTC Redress Payments
The FTC is sending more than $100,000 to 6,205 GOAT customers affected by alleged shipping and refund violations.
What happened
The Federal Trade Commission said it is distributing checks or PayPal payments to 6,205 GOAT customers who have not yet received redress. The payments follow a settlement over allegations that the marketplace delayed priority orders without offering cancellation and refunds, and failed to consistently honour its Buyer Protection promises. GOAT separately refunded more than $736,000 in 2025.
Why it matters
Affected customers receive compensation for orders and refund requests the FTC said GOAT handled improperly, adding to the company’s settlement-related payments.
