What happened
Google Play will run Play Fest from October 13–19, offering Play Points members sweepstakes entries for prizes including gaming gear, televisions, and a racing helmet. Players can pre-register for Angry Birds 2, Free Fire, and 8 Ball Pool leagues, with up to 50,000 Play Points available per league. Discounts and points multipliers will cover apps, games, books, gift cards, and Play Pass.
Why it matters
Users can turn existing Play Points into prize entries while accessing time-limited discounts, purchase bonuses, and higher rewards across Google Play’s catalog.
